Notes: Interlefts started the season off to a good start by defeating Allaire 1 in its first game ever. Allaire 1, coached by our old friend Jim "Ace" Morin, did put up a good fight, but fell short in the seventh inning when the potentially-tying run fouled out to our catcher, Michelle. Interlefts started off to a slow start in the game, but soon picked up in the 4-run 2nd inning and again in 6-run 4th inning. Interlefts scored 4 of the six runs in the 4th inning after two outs, connecting a string of five hits after two men down. Steve continued to swing a hot bat, driving in game-high 4 runs and homering in his first at-bat of the season. Extra special thanks to Steve for providing the uniform and hats to the team! Kevbud, who was listed day-to-day for injury on his left hand, DH'ed for the night and went 2-for-3 scoring 2 runs. Mary, who was also listed day-to-day, was present at the game to cheer for us. Larry, who is on DL was also present to cheer Interlefts into victory.
