Notes: Interlefts finished 1999 regular season in 1st place by defeating Allaire1, 16-15. Interlefts trailed 3-1 at the end of 1st inning, but scored 4 runs in the top half of 2nd inning and never looked back. However, Allaire1 team played a very solid game as well and kept the game a very close contest throught. Interlefts got its offense going in the 2nd inning with Zeke's 2-run homerun. This homer gave Zeke 16 homeruns in his young Interlefts career, tying Mitz with the most career homerun. In 3rd inning, Mitz took the lead in the career homerun category by hitting his first homer of the season, a 3-run shot. Kevbud and Andy each went 4-for-4 in the game. Kevbud scored 3 runs to pace the team with 20 total runs scored for the season. Zeke also scored 3 runs and drove in team-high 4 runs. Mary went 2-for-4 and drove in what proved to be the game-winning run for Interlefts. Interlefts also flashed some leather; Michelle and Steve robbed extra-base hits away from Allaire1 sluggers. JB was sidelined in the bottom of 5th inning after bouncing a liner off of his left arm. He is listed day-to-day. Larry came in to pitch in place of JB to close out the game. In the 7th inning, with 2 outs and tying run on 1st base, Larry got an Allaire1 slugger to fly out to deep right-center. Zeke made the catch for the final out. Interlefts concluded the 1999 regular season with 9-3 record.
