To kick-off year 2000, I joined First Night Boston celebration.  First Night Boston, established in 1976, is America's oldest and largest New Year's Eve celebration.  This year, more than 1000 artists joined to perform at over 60 indoor and outdoor venues in Boston between December 31, 1999 and January 2, 2000.  My friend MeiLin and I joined some of these events on December 31st and January 1st.

	Y2K Eve (December 31, 1999) Started the night with a dinner outside of Quincy Market, and moved our way westward, ending our night at a party watching the fireworks from Masako's apartment in Back Bay
	Y2K Day 1 (January 1, 2000) Started the night with the fireworks by Boston Harbor, and moved our way westward, ending our night at Hynes Convention Center.
